Our 8,000 square foot design studio is located adjacent to our workshops and includes state-of-the-art computer-aided design and drafting equipment, an outstanding reference library and an extensive collection of historical metal components and patterns. Our files include renderings, design drawings, and photographs of many custom ornamental ironwork and metalwork commissions completed by Wiemann Metalcraft since 1940.

Quality, custom metal fabrication begins with well articulated design and shop drawings. Wiemann design services are normally provided as part of a total package of service that includes fabrication and installation of the finished metalwork product. However, ornamental metalwork Design and Specification services are also available on a consulting basis (separately from fabrication) in order to help better define the scope of work so you may receive the benefit of more competitive bids and a higher quality, more exacting finished product.
